About this place

Ben-Gurion Tomb Scenic Viewpoint

The tombs of David and Paula Ben-Gurion lie at Midreshet Ben-Gurion, on a high ridge overlooking the Zin Valley. The landscaped memorial and desert panorama create a quiet place to reflect on the life of Israel’s first prime minister.

The viewpoint is close to the Sde Boker region and Ein Avdat National Park, but it is a separate heritage site. Visitors can combine historical context with a broad view of the Negev landscape without entering the nearby canyon trail.

What to see

  • Graves of David and Paula Ben-Gurion
  • Panorama of the Zin Valley and desert cliffs
  • Landscaped paths in a memorial setting
